I have a 19’ Ram with off road package (see sig for full details) I’m thinking about removing the skid plates in order to buy back some payload weight, does anyone know what they all weigh before I do this? Thanks in advance.

You'll only gain about twenty pounds of payload.

Have you considered dropping your spare tire, jack, crowbar etc and putting that stuff in whatever you’re towing? That could net you quite a bit more. I bet 75 pounds or so.

Definitely an option, for sure.

The other thing you can do is take your tail gate off. Can be removed in 5 min with no tools. I believe those are around 60 pounds.
