SiriusXM presets

I’ve read a few other threads in regards to the SiriusXM presets and I may have overlooked it but I haven’t really seen anything specific to my issue and wanted to see if anyone else has experienced the same and if it’s a SiriusXM issue or a Uconnect issue.
Just got a 2019 Ram 1500 Limited. First thing I did was transfer my existing all access subscription to the new radio. When I go to press the preset 1 to save a channel it won’t save. I’ve set up a listener profile, I’ve tried pressing and holding on the preset from the split screen view and from the full size view with no luck. Then I noticed that for example when I’m tuned into Lithium Ch 34 it shows the channel on the full screen as “CH -1” then I was tune to a different channel Shade45 and it would say the same thing “CH -1” when I try to use the toggle buttons on the steering wheel to go channel up or down it always goes back to channel 2.

ive only been able to get 2 channels saved after I refresh the signal each time but won’t work when you refresh it back to back and whatever station I’m on when I refresh if I stay on that station for 5 or so minutes the correct channel number will appear and I can save a preset but then the next station I go to reverts back to CH -1 and I can’t save a preset. The presets do remained saved once I get out of the truck and back in so they aren’t disappearing like some issues I’ve seen in another thread. Just wondering if anyone else had had this issue or if there’s another thread y’all can point me to if this has already been addressed. Thanks!

Sounds odd...once I cancelled my prior subscription from my GMC and switched over to my one year free from Ram (did it on the phone, in the truck) I had no issue setting up two listener profiles, one for me (sports, rock, hip-hop, Stern) and one for my girls (Pop, etc.). You can setup 5 of these and have 50 presets, if you wish.

Regarding setting up the presets, it was as easy as holding my finger on the preset number on the top of the SiriusXM screen and the logo of Ozzy's Boneyard was there in an instant.

AI have had the CH-1 and toggle issue on steering wheel going to CH2 despite being tuned to any other station number
I just had my screen replaced as i have had many issues with the original one
The 'New' one does the same thing

Mine ended up fixing itself. I bought the truck on 2/14 and transferred my existing SiriusXM subscription in the parking lot and on 2/19 I got in the truck and noticed the correct channels were appearing and that I could save my presets now.

Glad to hear yours seems to have corrected itself. Do you know if anything changed did you get a SW update via a dealer or OTA. I have seen a few users saying they have received some OTA updates recently.
Given I am on my second radio now it shows it was that particular unit.
this one does seem to be an improvement on the previous as this is the only issue that has re manifested to date
I had been through the trail period and gone onto a subscription so I don't feel like that is the connection
when this issue occurs if you look at the nav screen it shows the station as SXM 65535

Glad to hear yours seems to have corrected itself. Do you know if anything changed did you get a SW update via a dealer or OTA. I have seen a few users saying they have received some OTA updates recently.

Yeah that was the same exact issue I was having with mine. Wish I knew what fixed it. Haven’t had any problems with it since. Have you tried logging into your SiriusXM account and refreshing your radio signal? I don’t know if it’s because I was refreshing it like 4 times a day it ended up fixing itself or what.

i did get the new update OTA on Monday. So I’m on the 19.49.13 software version. Haven’t really noticed anything new other than when you push the related button it gives you an option for pandora radio of the artist currently playing. In the other software thread no one seems to know what the update actually fixed or does. Some believe it fixed some of the Bluetooth issues with the muted call issue. It might just be me but I feel like the font is sharper/crisper.

That sucks. Mine was built in 04/19 and was apparently bought by Hertz rental and used as a rental until 12/19. Dealership bought it from auction January and I purchased it in February. I’ve only had it for about 2.5 weeks and besides this issue it’s really the only problem I’ve had so far. Knock on wood.
