So I am the second owner of a 2020 Big Horn 12,000 miles, with the 4c U-connect 12" screen. Also, the 360L Sirius radio. I get no internet connection on the higher channels. Satellite stations work fine. This has been going on for a couple of months. I came here when the problem started. before registering on the site tonight and found the answer. By doing the reboot holding the vol and tuner knobs in for 30sec. With car off in run. It worked 2 months ago, but on Nov 13th the problem started again. I did the same procedure. This time the system would not go into reboot mode. No matter how I tried. So, I pulled fuse 44, and that didn’t work. Then I disconnected the battery cables and followed the procedure for a hard reset.

I have been in contact with Sirius, of course the first person gave me some real BS answers. Telling me that U connect must put a modem in the truck. You can't tell me that. I am a pretty capable retired ASE mechanic, and understand the system. I know the 360L has its own modem and does not rely on AT&T. I explained since I owned the truck for 2 yrs it has been working. I have a full access subscription, but don’t have Guardian. That my U connect Nav and Traffic Subscription is good till 6/25 and all that works. Sirius sent refresh signals but that didn’t make a difference, since the satellite stations work fine.
I called U connect who put me in contact with AT&T. But they have nothing to do with this problem. Since there was never an AT&T account. Plus, it shows in the settings the modem is active, and there is a username and PW for it, if I wanted to use it for a hotspot. I was then transferred to Sirius again. Elevated to the tech dept, and this has been going on 3 to 4 calls a day. They were supposed to call me back, after I spoke to them, and told them I went to a dealer in my area. Service manager told me I did all trouble shooting the right way. But he said it would be about $400.00 to just have it diagnosed. Sirius said they would be working on it with the dealer I went to. That was Friday and was told I would be called back today. So today Nov 18th I was out driving at 12pm, the radio started to work for 15 min running errands. Turned the vehicle off when I got home. Went back out tnite, and again. Can't connect to the internet. I can get the streaming stations using the app plugged in using Android Auto. The question I have is why all of a sudden, I can't get it to go into reboot mode? By using the procedure that worked the first time. I am starting to think that maybe it is the shark fin antenna, can this be the problem? Or is it the radio since it doesn't go into reboot mode anymore? Also I went into the dealer settings holding the 2 buttons at the bottom of the screen. All settings say I am up to date on the Software version 20.04.19, Flash Version 1.1.0.0 Boot Micro Version 20.04.01. Plus all other specs look ok.

This morning took my Grandkid to school. Still not working, but now when I go into System Information/connectivity,. All that is showing is Device-Panasonic and the IMEI #. No ICCID or Modem SW and HW version. Which was there until today. All I neeed to know, do I bring it to the dealer or a audio shop for a diagnosis? Or does anyone know why I cannot use the knobs to put it into reboot mode like it did the first time? So I have an idea what I might be dealing with. I could pull this screen out in a couple of minutes, and put another one in myself to save alot of money, if that is my problem.

Truck was at a very reliable audio shop; Screen was removed and radio module. All was tested including putting an antenna directly to the back of the unit. Guy was in direct contact with Uconnect which shows I have a subscription, Sirius which shows I have a full access subscription. Everything tests no problems with any components. Yet even disconnecting the unit directly when taken out. It will not go into reboot mode. My friend in Texas who I just spoke to about hog hunting. Has a 2024 Ram 1500 just started having the same type of problem about 5 months ago. Dealer says it is a software update problem. But they were nice enough to put a new radio in and it didn't change a thing. What is going on with these units? Sirius says U connect. U connect says Sirius and yet here we sit unable to use the system the way it was made to be used. You know Sirius is not BBB accredited and that they have so many complaints. The BBB doesn't even list them all on their website. Most are related to subscription abuse. In NY another one was just put in by the AJ for deceptive royalty fees. Yet they keep getting richer and richer. Ripping customers off and dealerships keep using their product and I am sure getting kickbacks.

So I was told to call infotainment.com and I spoke to a really nice guy. Explained my problem, and told me to send the radio module in for repair. He sent me the info to send it in and instructions. You send in $$$ or use a credit card pay $599.00. They send you an authorization # and you send the module for repair or replacement. You pay for shipping to them, but they pay to have it shipped back. But first they bench test it, and if it is not the problem, they send it back with your money minus the bench test fee. I am about to pull the screen this weekend, but I say let me try one more time. Dam if the internet isn't working again and has been so far.

I am sorry you are having trouble, but could you explain to me what you mean by “I get no internet connection on the higher channels”? Are you trying to use apps? Huh, maybe mine doesn’t work, but I get Apple Maps or Google maps when needed.

So, this is what happens I lose the ability to listen to the streaming stations on my 360L radio. I get can’t connect to the internet. Then suddenly it comes back for a couple of days or a week. This started in October. I was able at that time to press the Volume and Tunner knobs in for 30 sec with the truck in run. My screen went blank, and it rebooted. I had streaming back on my 360L radio. A month later it happened again. So, I went and did the same thing to reboot the radio. This time nothing. The radio will not reboot. So I did the Battery disconnect and it didn’t work. I pulled fuse #44 under the steering column fuse box, and it didn’t work. I did the radio refresh with the link Sirius sent. Sirius even tried and they were unable to get my 360L radio to get the streaming stations. All my satellite stations work.
I have a full access subscription to Sirius. I can use my Android Auto through the app to stream the stations that I should be able to get on the 360L radio. Then suddenly it started working again for a week. Then 2 days ago I went out turn the truck on. I get trying to connect and then can’t connect to the internet. I have been back and forth with Sirius tech support. They elevated the case, said they would call back and never did. If you ONLY want to listen to the Sirius stations and I mean all of them. All you need is a full access subscription. The 360L has its own modem separate from U-connect and AT&T. I don’t need U connect or AT&T hot spot for wifi hot spot usage. Because I don’t use Guardian, or Navigation maps since I use google maps. All I want is for all the stations to work on the 360L radio. So, I don’t have to hook up the Sirius app and stream. It is dangerous to drive and try to change stations through the app. When all I have to do is press the 12-inch screen and pick the station I want or turn the dial or press the steering wheel radio button. Also I do have a U connect subscription until 6/25 and the maps show off line all the time and I can’t even use the navigation if I wanted to.
My biggest question is why all of a sudden will the radio not reboot. No matter what I try. I was put in touch with infotainment. Explained the situation, and was told it is the telematic radio module. I was going to send them $599.00 and have it bench tested and repaired if necessary. But like I said it started to work again. Plus it is kind of cold to take the module out and have no heat in the winter. I am still not certain if it is the module. But why will the radio not reboot by the pressing in the volume and tunner knobs? When it did it one time and it solved the problem. Could it be the sharkfin attenna?

Get in truck this morning about 6:30am try the radio like usual. Still not working on streaming stations. Stop at a place and come out, my radio is on station 1. Advertisement about Christmas channels coming. I go WTF is this? All my presets are gone, favorites and my profile. So for the heck of it I try the streaming, and it is working again at about 7AM. Everything has to be reset, but I have all the stations back. I looked in the dealer settings, and all the info under system info/connectivity is all back besides only the Device name and IMEI. Along with all the info under Radio Part info, SDAR, Flash Loader Version and Navigation. I didn’t try a reboot because I don’t want to push my luck. I just don’t understand what’s going on. I am afraid tomorrow it might all be missing again.

Gone again from 9am no connectivity info showing in dealer settings again. Except the radio make and IMEI #. DISGUSTED

So I been on the phone again 4pm to 6:30pm. Sirius tech support says it is the modem. That it needs to be reset by the dealer. That all I need is a Sirius all access subscription which I have. Nothing else no Uconnect data plan, no ATT hot spot or Sirius Guardian subscription. They said give a hot line # to the dealer who is setting it up to call, if they don't know how to fix it. So I am going to take a chance and bring it in. Once I get some money together. Which puts it off till after the new year. If they can't fix it I get rid of Sirius subscription. If they cant get the divice not recognized from popping up constantly. Then I get rid of the truck.

This is the info that was back in connectivity Saturday. Now all I have is the Device and IMEI.

I keep comong across this to Hold down the Phone and voice recognition buttons, at the same time, for thirty seconds. Can someone tell me if you hold down the phone disconnect or phone call button. Along with the voice recognition button to try a soft reset. I only been trying the volume and tunner knobs. Since it worked the first time.
