Side View Mirrors Reverse Tilt - Intermittent Does Not Return to Normal Position

Reviving an old thread. I’m seeing a somewhat similar issue with my 2026 Laramie.

I have the memory package on this truck and both driver and passenger mirrors can be activated to tilt down when reversing. I actually find this helpful. The mirrors do return when I take it out of reverse. But at least once a week, I notice the mirrors are adjusted higher than what I saved for the preset. So I adjust them again to the position I want for driving and re-save them to the preset.

Any ideas why they are not returning to the right position? I’ll probably try turning off the auto tilt in reverse to see if the mirrors still drift higher over time.

Can't help you with that issue. I tried using the tilt feature but it tilted the mirrors so far that all I could see was the ground.
Couldn't see a trailer or anything behind me except the ground right behind me.
Had to turn it off.

Same for me.
