Shoutout to Carven

Just want to give a shoutout to Carven for superior customer service. I have a blacked out 2019 Ram and wanted the larger black tips that fill the cutouts better than the stock tips. This will be my first truck with no exhaust modifications due to how amazingly quiet the cab is. Anyway the tips came in damaged due to packaging, without a bat of an eye Ben sent me out a new pair that were packaged much better and a return label for me to send back the damaged set. A few days later and they look amazing, quality is well worth it as well. Thanks for the no hassle exchange.

That's great they fit the OEM pipes...Im blacking out my truck and just checked the MOPAR price...they want $345 for the par. how much were they from Carven?

I did the same thing. They fit much better than the OEM tips filling the opening way better and they are double walled. They were $229.

You got it, yeah I can't see ruining the quiet cab for a few HP. I do enjoy a nice rumble but I can still get that by hammering the throttle.

How was taking the old one off? pretty similar to this 1:10 mark? I took a peek under the truck yesterday and noticed a slightly different type of tab on the connector clamp

Yep, pretty much the same deal. The tab is not on the OEM clamp and clips into a tab on the OEM tip, just pry off with a screwdriver. The Carven tips don't have that tab but I left it in place just in case I ever swapped the tips back for some reason. Just get them snug enough to line them up and torque them down. Easy peasy.

I ordered a Carven competitor catback system a while back, it didn’t line up well on the truck. Ben sent me a new system and all is well again. I am very impressed with the customer service at Carven!

Installed the Carven ceramic black tips yesterday. Already running the B2 Fabrications Magnaflow muffler. I think the Carven tips look good and they are built solid.
