Anyone found an alternative to the shark fin Antenna? It’s the only thing preventing me from fitting in my parkade at work by 1”. I’ve seen some nasty damage to others who have hit the shark fin on garage doors or some other hard object and don’t want to risk it. Need something flatter. Rebel measures 79” with about 300lbs of weight in the bed and clearance bar is at 78” (and concrete door header behind it at 79”). The entrance is off camber a little so any misstep and the shark fin is either breaking off or adjusting the sheet metal on the roof in a bad way.

Wish these had the flat antennas or the fin at the front like that HDs.

Air-ride goes down 3 inches from normal ride height, just a thought.

My 2021 Laramie with LEER 122 Hi-Rise Cap is at 90 inches at normal ride Height.
So I watch for anything under 8 feet/96 inches. I can gain few more inches with
the lowered Air Suspension.

You should omit it completely. The fin is only added to the stock immediately before serving. It is a ridiculous dish in which the fin serves no purpose except texture. The stock and fin are prepared completely separately. The stock is generally based on Chinese ham while the fin is simply soaked in a hot water or masterstock solution until it is gelatinous. Before serving, a ceramic bowl is heated, stock is added and as it sizzles, the gelatinized fin is ladled in as it's carried to the table.

You could reposition elsewhere and fabricate(CNC) cover plate to seal where was located. I'm in aviation, so we do this all the time on aircraft.

Want to send me a CNC cover plate? Last time I had a local fab shop quote me something small like this it hit their min price of $200 for anything going out the door not on a commercial large volume account.
