Anyone have a 19-24 5.7 and notice the transmission & torque converter lockup is very sloppy compared to the 3.0 hurricane?

I have ~1650mi wondering if this will improve. It's pretty terrible.

Not clear what is being asked here.
Are you asking about a specific transmission that is available for the 5.7L engine? If so, which one?
Is this question concerned with only the 5.7L engine and transmission in the Ram 1500? DS or DT?
Or can this question apply to the 5.7L engine and transmission in other vehicles as well?

DT - fixed typo

we have two trucks with the 5.7 and ZF transmission, and they are the moothest transmissions I have ever driven. Can't speak for Hurricane.

I either have a light-medium throttle calibration issue or a transmission issue...or both. Not CELs but the shifting in gears 1-3 is haphazard. Under light-medium throttle the engine surges so you really have to just push the pedal thru that zone and it's fine. I've got 16,000+ miles and the truck has been fine but this issue, which it's done since it was new, is super annoying. I'm going to bring it to the dealer when I return home in July and let them play with it. Maybe there's an updated Transmission and Engine tune or something. I will say that I have an issue with 3rd gear, off throttle when coasting down hill...it's rough coming out of lockup. Otherwise, the ZF is silky smooth.

I have the same issue on mine. Feels like it can’t find the right gear at low speeds. Trying to feather the throttle going up my driveway is probably the hardest. This truck doesn’t creep very well.

Same issue basically. It doesn't know what to cruise in so it doesn't know what to downshift into when you command it. I constantly have issues passing because the truck won't downshift when commanded.

I also noticed a low rpm shudder with the throttle open in higher gears around 1500rpm.

My 22 was great as well. They definitely touched the transmission calibration for the 3.0

Same here, along with others. Hopefully Ram realizes it at some point and sends out an update to fix it.

I own a 5.7 DT and have test driven three different 3.0 Hurricane powered trucks (SO not HO). I felt the 3.0 transmission was not smooth at all, especially at slower speed travels. Was a bit disappointed compared to the 5.7
