Anyone having a problem with their Service Axle Lock Warning randomly coming on? 2019 Tradesman with off road package. It's come on randomly for the last few years but has been on more lately. It will come on for a minute or so and then go off. I've even had the axle lock engage by itself when starting the truck. Happened at a gas station and i could feel it binding. had to move around abit before it disengaged, was afraid i would damage something but wasn't much i could do. I've checked the connector at the rear dif and the wiring but can't find a thing. Haven't said anything to the dealer since it is completely random and won't do it for months at a time.

Had a similar problem on a 2.7 eco boost F150 at work. Wound up being a fault in the actuator for the locker, in the differential housing. Would engage the locker whenever it felt like it wanted to.

The system seemed pretty similar to the E-Locker on my ram. Since you already checked your connection at the differential, I imagine the actuator itself would be the solution. Could possibly be the switch in the dash too.
