Second battery idea, thoughts?

So I know some people have added a second battery, one adapted a second battery tray from a 2500.

So my idea is could the stock 1500 tray be ordered and just flipped around? At a glance it looks like it could work. Just curious what everyone thinks? Could it be that simple as far as a mounting option?
