Good afternoon. I thought I had made my mind up and was ready to pull the trigger on a 2021 Ram Limited night edition. I currently have an F150 as a company vehicle and drive an Expedition as a family vehicle. But after test driving a Laramie yesterday (only one available) it seems to me that the seats are much smaller than the Fords. I’m a pretty good size guy, 6’2”, 320 but my wife is much smaller and said the same thing - to the point that she couldn’t get comfortable. Any other folks reach a similar conclusion? Or are we both just accustomed to the Fords contours?

Thanks

I can't say compared to a Ford, but my big horn is very comfortable. I'm 6 foot, 300 lbs.

The Laramie seats are 3/4 inch narrower than on my former 2018 F150 xlt. And harder, but have softened up a bit. I am 5"11 and 265ish

The F-150 hip width in the front is listed as 62.5”, whereas the Ram is listed as 63.4”.

That said, the shape of the Ram seats may “feel” narrower. I didn’t notice much difference when test-driving the trucks, but the Ram seats may have had a little more bolstering.

(But I’m *only* a 5’-11”, 265-lb weightlifter)

Also, the Limited seats will have a different feel, as do my Longhorn seats. Might be worth looking around for one to “try on”.
