Maybe I missed this in the past but when dealers give you a build sheet for a potential order, there is a charge for seats applied. For the Laramie it's $1295 for leather trimmed seats. I swear that was always in the level 2 (B) or night packages? If you build on NADA for 2022 it's exact to the dealer numbers ...except the added seating charge. Is this new for 2022 or maybe I just never noticed before?

Leather trimmed seating is standard on the Laramie according to the build process on the Ram website, regardless of Level 1 or 2.

Weird, both the BH and Laramie builds are showing seat charges, that one would think are included in the package that references seating. The Ram site build and Nada are off an amount exact to the seat figure on dealership builds. The Laramie I built was 62,100 and the dealers build it at 63, 395. The only diff is the added 1295 seat charge from where the dealer builds it.

40/20/40 Front leather trim seats are standard on the Laramie, but front bucket seats are additional cost option.
Just checked the NADA Ram build site & Laramie bucket seats are $1295 MSRP.

Yup, the upcharge is for the bucket seats, not for the leather.

On the Ram site for build and price (which is still 2021) the night package is $3495 and the first bullet is leather trimmed bucket seats. So, for.2022 the night package is also $3495 but no longer has leather trimmed seats. Now its an extra $1295. Guessing leave B is the same price as Level 2 even though blind spot monitoring. Just seems odd but is what it is.

2021 Build Sheet for Laramie on their website (2022 not updated yet). Clearly shows leather trimmed bucket seats are included. When you then scroll down to interior, it also shows 5 passenger seating, leather trim buckets as included (no option to add them as they are automatically added/included).

This is the 2022 build off of Nada. Same MSRP as last year (3,495) but does not show the leather seating. As soon as you select the night package, the system automatically adds the $1,295 seating too. Will be interesting to see if the Ram website shows it as included when they update the site for 2022 builds.

I know I'm probably over thinking this thing but when you read what you get for $3,495 in the night package....other than black badging, black wheels (not a cost as you are not getting something extra) and the running boards, most of it you get standard when you have a Laramie with the level A or B package. Some of Rams packages are a good deal....others are a complete ripoff....such as this one.

Sorry, I'm done now.

Your last sentence summed it up nicely. Be an informed buyer. Take advantage of the good deals and stay away from the bad ones.

Agreed Mike

Also, I think maybe this is an error in the 2022 order system. Below is a 2021 Laramie order and when they added the Night package, the leather trimmed seats went to zero. The early 2022 orders....it stays on the sheet and adds $1,295 to the total. If ordering a 2022 just be aware.

Here's almost an identical build for 2022 (only difference is missing the 3.92 gear add) ....the $1,295 stays on the sheet.
