Hi. Not sure if anyone can help with this one, but I figure it is a good place to start. Today I found this screw on my drivers side floor mat. I did not bring this screw into the truck on a part or anything. It had to come from somewhere under the dash on the drivers side. It was laying slightly to the left of center on the mat. Anyone have any ideas where it would go? I looked and can't see a spot.

Infamous dash rattle screws that they hide in the dash. The dealer never finds them. (y)(y)(y)(y)(y););););)

Have you had any work done recently? Because I did and my dealer left a screw sitting in the same spot.

Have you ever assembled anything? There are always extra screws LOL

Count your blessings and fell out on it's own... not 200 thousand miles from now. :ROFLMAO:

Did the dealer install an aftermarket alarm? Maybe they had an extra screw.

Nope, nothing has been installed. It just came loose from somewhere. Last dealer visit was over a month ago to get the bed liner sprayed in and the computer needed to be updated.

Screw looks clean so i would guess that it fell behind the dash during assembly and could not be retrieved. Then over time the screw dislodged itself and fell out.
