Running boards

Yesterday, I got a call from my dealer asking if my 2019 Laramie had running boards. I told him no. Service manager stated, “Chrysler called checking. “ I asked him to give me a call back once he found out why they called to ask. Anyone else get a call or know anything about why Chrysler may call the dealer to know if my vehicle had running boards?

Odd... You’d think that they would’ve already had this information based on the build sheet, sticker, or VIN, unless installed later. I added them as an option on my ‘20 Rebel. No calls here...

What information I was able to get from Ram customer care was some package were supposed to have them but not installed. Awaiting information from local dealership that called me.
