I bought my ram at the end of august. the dealer told me running boards were not avail. yet they had em in stock over at Dallas Doge so I went there and bought the full length oem ones for 20% off. 30-45 min. install

your garage looks like mine. I have 9' door and only about 2" on each side to spare when pulling in or out. I have the tow mirrors. a tight fit

What brand are those step bars? Also, what is your lift/wheel/tire set up?

The steps are mopar off-road style boards right from the dealership. It’s a 3.5” rough country with springs in the back out of a off road package truck because I didn’t like the front high look, rims are 20x10 -12 offset fuel maverick wheels and 285/65r20 bfgoodrich at ko2 tires

I'm ordering the Rino Raptor style running boards for my 2019 Rebel. Only $550.

Just got ours today! Took two months exactly from when we got the truck. So happy they came in earlier than expected. Like how they are made as well, nice and heavy with textured matte finish. Couldn't find anything I was happy with aftermarket so these were it.

Dont mind the filthy truck.. can't get a break in the weather here.

For those considering running boards here are some "Factors" for consideration.

Factors for running boards:
1. material - steel, SS, alu, plastic
2. shape - flat, round, oval, trapezoid, other (more off road)
3. width - 3, 4, 5, 6 inch
4. color - black, polished, painted
5. connections to vehicle - brackets (no covers / covers-beefier look)
6. connection to vehicle - gap from vehicle, height from ground
7. ends - capped (plastic) or welded ends
8. ends - straight or "bent"
9. company - USA, dealer network, contacts (email, phone), warranty, service, reliability
10. price -

Maybe it will help in the decision process for those choosing other than Mopar.
Have not pulled the trigger yet, but I am leaning towards the Steelcraft STX 400.

Here is CARiD with 74 choices:

Things were so much easier 2001 with my Dodge Ram 1500.

Also when selecting running boards I prefer wider ones because car doors are likely going to hit them instead of your truck... just something to think about.

I started with the mopar stainless one and switched to the mopar off-road style ones and really like them
Those black ones are nice looking. Can you tell me where you got them?
Thanks, Marc

I ordered them through the dealer, they are called mopar off road style running boards! They are spendy but nice!

Good feedback with the dozens or hundreds of boards available! I bought Ionic 41 series bright running boards. They are not as "BRIGHT" as they sound. More rubber tread shows than chrome. A nice plus.
I liked two things.
First, I liked the tread. It's (I think) 5 full inches wide and it runs front to rear.
Second, I liked the little "lip" at the rear of the treads. It seemed a bit safer, like more of a "foot-stop safety" for my girlie, if they're slick with snow. Those were just my now politically incorrect, yet honest thoughts.
I bought a cheap full metric tap and die set (at harbor freight with their 20% coupon for about $13.00) and the die fit perfectly, and I cut through the factory paint just by hand turning it. Tough in parts but not bad, and gloves probably would have helped threading 18 painted bolts. (Also used harbor freight thread-locker)
This was my choice for both price and features and I'm pleased with the results, they've been a few months on now.
Good luck.

Just installed the GO RHINO RB20 steps. A little wider than I would’ve liked but they look nice

I just purchased my 2019 Laramie on 8/18. It didn't come with running boards. I have the Delmonico red pearl with the sport package. I am thinking about going the matte powder coated black ones over the brushed aluminum. Any thoughts.
Nox Vidmate VLC
I have the same black package on my truck and I'm on the fence about using something somewhere to break up all the black.

Installed my Go Rhino RB20 "Raptor-style" running boards yesterday. Found them on Amazon for $408 +tax. Easy install (1.5 hrs with the wife yelling that we needed to be somewhere), and I'm not very mechanical.

They are a lighter than the Westin Outlaws I originally ordered. Those were returned before install because of damage that appeared to be pre-shipping. Took my refund and bought these instead of waiting another month for Westin to replace the others.

VERY happy with them so far. Followed the advice of someone's review and installed with the wider end at the front. Small complaint, because I'm picky... I was able to slide them back and forth on the brackets and line up the boards so two of the three mounts were hidden when looking top down through the holes. But the rear bracket can be seen.

Overall 9 out of 10 stars.

I put TrailFX drop down rails on my truck. Really like them so far. The step is a little narrow when stepping down according to my 8 month pregnant wife.
