Anyone have suggestions for running boards? I'm having a hard time deciding without seeing them on the truck. Pictures would be appreciated.

If you are on Facebook go check out the 5th Gens Ram Facebook page. TONS and Tons of threads on sharing pictures. Rough Country HD2s, just installed yesterday. Love them so far.

I went with the Go Rhino’s. First purchase before I got a door ding.

Went with the Mopar off-road style boards. Really like them.

Wish I would have seen these before I installed my Westin HDX's. Maybe there will be new steps in my future!

Do you have a link to the 5th Gen Rams Facebook page you are referring to? I went to FB 5th Gen Rams but did not see anything about sidesteps.

I put the Ram power boards on my 19 Laramie and have been happy with them. I have had them for a year and no issues, but I only have 5500 miles. I believe you can change the settings to have them always out if you don't want them going in and out everytime.IMG_1529.JPEG

What did you have to do to add them? Can you put power running boards on a Big Horn? How much $$$?

Couple of questions im leaning towards replacing my oem black boards with these. Did you opt for the bedliner coated ones or the powder coated black ones? How tight do they fit the body of the truck? And how far do they stick out? Any more pictures would be appreciated as well

I have to question why somebody would pay $1400 for powered running boards that are designed to tuck up under a truck only to program them to not tuck up underneath.

you could instead spend $200-$500 on a set that is always out.

I had the dealership install the boards and I would imagine they could be installed on a Big Horn. I honest don’t recall what they cost.

Can you give a few more angles? I really like those but I keep reading there's a bigger gap between the truck and the rails then most pictures show. Also are these the HDX Extreme's? I really like those but I worry about someone still being able to open their door into my truck door instead of hitting the rails.

I bought the black powder coated ones. I felt the black looked better with the granite, plus the guy at the shop said they are still very durable with our northern winters. The sprayed ones had a lighter color that I did not like and the price wasn’t there. The boards tuck under the cab and you can adjust how far during your Install. I made the point to make mine close without possibilities of touching. The boards are thicker up front (almost 7 1/2”) the back is close to 6 1/4”. At first I was worried they would kick out too much and look awkward until I leveled it and got larger tires. It doesn’t seem to be the case , I’m used to them now and get a lot of compliments.

I love the Go Rhino Rb10 in the spray liner coating. Low profile and wide and easy to step out on. Easy to install too. I wanted the RAM OEM off-road ones but for almost $900. Nope. There is a gaudy name plate in the rear that is easily removed with a 1/8 drill bit to drill the rivets and never know it was there.

I also went with Go Rhino... very sturdy and install was simple ( after cleaning the darn paint off of the frame studs!). I will say that the brackets had several spots where the powder coat was missing/chipped... see pics... but the running boards themselves were well packed and had no issues.

Thanks for all your responses, I went with the RB20s with the bedliner coating and they should be here sometime this week. Ill put up some pictures when I throw them on.

I love the color of your truck! Everytime I see that color I regret going with black again. The RB20s also match it well
