Rough Country Rear Wheel Liners Installed

Finally a nice day here in Michigan, installed the rear wheel liners. They were definitely as rigid as the reviews stated and ended up using my torch to soften the last little bit to get them stuffed behind the fenders. They fit great, look great, and make me feel better knowing all that stuff back there is much better protected now.

Side note upon delivery only 1 of the 2 showed up, with no hardware or instructions. They ship as a wheel liner with a label stuck to it, no packaging or anything (a testament to how durable they are I guess?) Anyways I called Rough Country and their customer service was great, they essentially no questions asked had a new set shipped out the next day and didn't request the single one back. The new set showed up a few days later with both pieces, hardware, and instructions.

Installed a set on my Rebel yesterday, they do offer peace of mind and look good. It was about 40* and they were a pita to install.

That's the first pics I've seen of the Rough Country liners. They have more texture than the Mopar liners. Do you know if they're thicker?

I couldn't tell you the thickness of the Mopar ones because I haven't handled them, but these rough country ones are very sturdy you can see the edge here is 1/8-3/16" I'd say.

Yea they are a lot thicker then the OEM ones, that said I have not had an issue with the OEM.

Just like Biga mentioned, they’re significantly thicker than OEM liners. I don’t understand how people are having a hard time on install. On both I’ve done, I slid them over the tires, pushed them into place, and reinstalled screws. No bending or heating involved on either truck. Just makes me wonder.

Mine were a pain because I reverse leveled the rear.. but it wasn't bad enough to complain about by any means.

Maybe I should have tucked the edge under the fenders before pushing the inner part up all the way. Either way it's done, I don't think it took more than 30 minutes to do both sides.
