Rough country LED tailgate light strip question?

Does anyone know if you can add a strobe controller to the Rough country Under tailgate light strip to make it strobe a few times when you step on the break peddle? I'm looking to add one to my truck but want to catch peoples attention away from their cell phones.

Or what LED strip are you guys using?
