This topic has probably been discussed before, but perhaps the forum police will allow me to post about it again.
What would be the easiest and cheapest way to make my 2023 Ram 1500 ride like a 1976 Cadillac?
And then what would be the best way to do that?

And in both cases, it retains most or all of its normal towing and hauling capacity, approximately 2,000 lbs and 10,000 to 11,000 lbs.

The air ride on the Limited is not bad at all, but a Cady ride will be pretty hard to come by

I thought the OEM was soft and wallowed like a boat already and hated it. I couldn't wait to change mine out. FOX struts/shocks are known to be the softest shock aftermarket. I'm not sure about any other and Eibach/ Bilstein are firmer.

100%👍

If your payload is actually near 2000 pounds then you have a bare bones truck, and it will not ride like a Caddy. Adding all the things necessary (air ride, softer springs, softer shocks, etc) will only reduce the payload and towing.

The smoothest riding 1500's OEM are Limiteds, but they are the worst for payload and towing.

A truck will never ride like a Cadillac. RAM trucks are already the smoothest riding trucks on the market. I guess you could always take the shocks and struts off and just ride around on the coil springs. Will be very floaty and wallowy like that old *** caddy

HSKR R/T, I was using the Cadillac euphemistically. I thought that was obvious.
There are people who actually want that from a truck, and don't actually understand that a truck will never be like that. Can't ever assume.

"There are people who actually want that from a truck, and don't actually understand that a truck will never be like that. Can't ever assume."
Then why are you assuming a truck can never be like that? Why are you assuming you know what people want? Why are you assuming people don't understand? Why are you assuming that with the use of the word actually "that from a truck" is bad? Why are you insinuating your idea of a truck is superior to someone else's? I wasn't asking for criticism of my truck concept, but for helpful ideas. If no helpful ideas, then silence. Can I not ask questions on this forum without receiving criticism? I fail to see how criticism of comments or ideas is helpful. I really like driving a truck, but I have severe problems with pain in my neck, and a smoother ride helps a great deal. Don't tell me to drive something other than a truck, try to help.

My 2017 Limited was about the softest riding truck I have ever owned and was often compared to a caddy. It was amazing on the highway but left alot to be desired around town and in the curves. My "All new" 2019 is a much firmer and positive ride in all aspects. I'm sure the suspension design and geometry is all different between the generations but you could start by looking at what shocks were in the 17 limiteds and then find the comparable model, (assuming you truck doesn not have the air ride).

I'd be looking at brands like Monroe rather that Bilstein or other's that are known to be stiffer.

I see you fall into the "don't understand" portion about trucks and suspension. I was offering constructive criticism and explaining why you weren't going to get what you "euphemistically" asked for. Short of lowering your tire pressures and running tires with larger sidewallsz which will be minimal help. I will leave you to your impossible task. Good luck
