Well I tried the Luyed leds20200302_180719.jpg but something is wrong with wiring. BUT I like the look and size. I will have to figure out what I did wrong with the wiring this weekend. 20200302_180731.jpg

Somewhere in the linked threads above, someone also installed these. Very low profile and I figured I'd give them a try. Ordered through aliebaba or some such, took 6 weeks but things are a mess in China right now. They come with double sided tape, and I drilled 2 small holes each side to zip tie for a little extra security.

I only have them taped, for 9 months now, still no movement, so good tape apparently. I did stick them almost immediately when the truck was brand new and clean.

Do you happen to have a link to these?
I actually found some at Walmart in the automotive section recently.
Grabbed a set for spares, $12 I think.

Thanks, I'll check next time I'm there. The tailgate light bar provides plenty behind the truck, but might be nice to add for lighting on the sides of the rear bumper.

Wonder why Ram hasn't fixed the horrible backup lights or have issued a safety recall on the poor lighting. Still haven't decided what route I will go with for additional back-up lights. Leaning towards the LED light strips that are also used for brake and signal lights under the tailgate.

The LED under the tailgate is a great option. I opted for the OPT7 tailgate lightbar with sequential, but at the same time I am one who can't stop modifying a vehicle till its traded or sold, so I am looking to add additional lighting. Probably try to wire for a switch as I won't need the additional light all the time.

The strips shown above look great, although I wish there was a way to itegrate the lights above better...i.e. to have them mounted behind the plastic with an oval cutout for the light itself. It seems easy enough, so I may attempt and post my results.

The reserve light is just to let surround peoples that you are back out not mean to provide lighting.

Well this isn't a write up for reverse lights (for lower grille lights) but is to good to be lost in "what did you do to your ram today"
