If you want to add extra lights get a Curt harness with the extra 5 pin plug to tap into the reverse wire. That way you never touch your OEM wiring. Even with upgraded lights it's still going to be dark behind the truck. Many people, including myself, have added extra lights.

Another option is a lightbar, installed using the Curt harness...mines is bright AF...that harness is a must.

OEM LED reverse lights are absolutely terrible...what have you guys done to address this?

Finished, these are the Rigid Ignite diffused. Made a big difference! Really would like to see how you mount those on bumper in daylight. Thanks.

Get a splitter. You can tap into the wires on the other end of the splitter. I was scared to cut into factory wires, so I went this route. You're able to hook it up behind the bumper as well so it's nice and neat. Something like this Amazon.com

I don't have any pics, and there's too much snow right now, but if you skip to 1:15 on this video, it will show you where you can attach the splitter too.
