What is the likelihood one could retrofit the new digital cluster gauge screen into a 2019 - 2022 model year? I'm curious to hear your folk's answers..

I believe there are some who are looking into it, but I don't think it is available for purchase yet. At least, that was the last I had heard. I'm sure it is possible. We've already got the Uconnect 5 working.

some folks who own 2019 - 2021 got uconnect 5 to work in their trucks??

Check it out

interesting.. welp i got faith that retrofitting the digital cluster couldn’t be any harder than doing uconnect 5.

For those who are dying to get the digital cluster…

Should be pretty straight up swap. Hardest part will be finding one from a wreck, since mopar parts suppliers can’t sell brand new clusters.

i’m worried that they will be a few new features on the digital cluster that the current cluster does not possess thus it won’t be 100% plug n play.

The fact that 2023’s are using digital clusters, and the regular clusters tells us otherwise.

I don't think they've advertised any new features in the cluster beyond, Look! New shiny!

Looking into this myself. I've started to see the parts available on sites like Moparpartsinc.com (going for $726 at the moment), but I have no idea if this is plug-n-play or required a harness/module of some kind. I'm kinda hoping the guys over at Infotainment.com are cooking something up right now to enable this retrofit into a 2019.

This is an older thread. There is a newer thread where it has been done. I don't think from what I remember, it being plug and play. I think there was posibly a custom harness. Search for the newer thread.

The cluster hasn't been, just UC5. As far as I know, there was some other stuff needed before the digital cluster could be done.

The cluster has been done. First time the person who did it had connections to get one before they were available for sale to the public. It's somewhere here.

I'll have to see. The only person I know who had one was Jimmy07 and he got it from a wreck and was needing something else. I've texted him to see if he got it done. Still not seen anything on here about success.

Somebody got one through a supplier. There was another thread somewhere.

I'd love to see a link to that thread. I just did a search for cluster and went through 10 pages of it and there's not a single mention of anybody being able to do that yet. Hopefully this supposed person who did it will post on here that they did it.

They may have removed the post due to the way he acquired the parts. The way it was worded people could have lost jobs.
