I was looking at switching out the resonator pipe on my 2020 Rebel 5.7 Hemi to the Corsa straight through pipe, but now I am confused...

I looked under the truck and did not see a resonator. All of the videos and instructions out there show the resonator “hump” in the front of the pipe but mine looks as though I don’t have a resonator.
I did have an aftermarket FlowFX muffler installed and I had the rear resonators removed so I thought maybe they swapped out the front pipe as well. But, the pipe that is currently installed has a Mopar stamp on it. I am all kinds of confused now.
Take a look at the pics and let me know your thoughts. E58166C3-302C-42BD-94E7-22BD8756433C.jpeg9FBB59E8-004F-4F01-A666-FB9F2A105B6D.jpeg64437465-219E-422C-B60D-E0BA4F2367B1.jpeg

I believe that there are no front resonators in any 5th-gen Ram 1500's built since mid 2020.

My 2020 Limited had the front resonator ... it was an early 2020 build .. my 21' does not... could be a mid year running change as DLT123 mentioned above ...

I feel like my 2020 with a flowFX, no front resonator and rear resonator delete isn’t loud at all. I also have the ram air flow CIA. I figured that would open this hemi up, but I am pretty disappointed.

You need a smaller straight through muffler if you want louder, the Flowmaster Outlaw comes to mind, though still quiet at highway cruising, it sounds amazing when on throttle.

Would anyone be interested in trading their oem non-resonated mid pipe for my oem resonated mid pipe? I’m looking for a little more sound but not muffler swap or cat back sound.

i just looked at my 2021 rebel and there is no front resonator.

my 2020 BTS has no front resonator while others that were built did. seems like it was random as why some got them and some did not.

Does anyone that has the straight mid pipe want the resonated mid pipe? Or have any idea where or how much it would be to purchase one?

My 2020 Big Horn does not have the front resonator, but does have 2 rear resonators. I want to get rid of them as they are increasingly annoying.

My 2019 (October 2018 build) came with the front resonator. I replaced it with the Corsa delete pipe. From what I remember reading (and what others have said here) I think they stopped using the front resonator sometime in 2020. I got the Corsa pipe for $260 shipped.

Yes, I only have the ones at the rear, no forward resonator.

Just want to post an update on this thread. I have the mopar cat back and 5” tips on my truck. I ordered the oem non resonated 2020+ mid pipe for my 2019 and couldn’t notice any difference in sound. Probably less difference than when I changed the tips. So I wouldn’t spend the $200 or so again on the mid pipe if I was doing it again.
