Honestly I think that's a pretty awesome price, considering I imagine those mirrors are twice that each from the dealer.

I imagine you could easily get a few hundred for the tow mirrors that are taken off, help offset at least some of the price.

That is a feature we can retain if you vehicle already has it but we cannot add. This kit will however enable the puddle lights, turn signals, and auto-dim driver's side mirror


So if you have tow mirrors … NO HEAT

Yes the above is what they told me too.

I asked them about retaining my Blind Spot Monitoring System and they said "You will provide your VIN upon ordering and we match the mirrors to the features your truck currently has."

My kit arrives this Friday!

INFOTAINMENT did do a power folding TOW mirror kit for the 09-18 models, I suspect they will do the same after the 2020 RAM 2500 HD comes to market. They order the parts directly from FCA once part #'s are available.

Thank you for the heads up. 6 weeks ago, they had nothing for me. I've already purchased and installed the mirrors, modules and switch. Just asked for a quote for the ODBII Genie ans SGW bypass.

OMG...this sounds great. I have 2019 1500 Laramie with Tow Mirrors and hate the mirrors. If I have vertical, they stick out way too far. If I have horizontal, tough to get good view. I tow horse trailer so thought they would be great, but don't work for me for normal driving. Almost clipped another truck today (yikes). The only part of my truck I don't love. Will call these guys tomorrow to ask all the detailed questions that I have. Thank you very much for posting. I will post what I find out also.

true, in your case their folding ones will work. They cant ADD heat

I went to the dealer today to complain about the tow manual folding mirror issue. Basically tough luck! The fact that the sticker clearly shows power folding mirrors is of no consequence as somewhere else it shows manual fold mirrors. Two conflicting statements. This is deceptive misrepresentation as far as I am concerned. Basically if you buy off the lot, you have to check all of the options to make sure there are there or that there is nothing bogus on the sticker. As I now have 200 miles on it , I own it and have to dole out the cash to replace the mirrors myself. FCA shameful!!

So, the fine print says May Replace Standard Equipment which means if you have the tow group, the mirrors replace the Power Multi-function Fold-Away Mirrors.

If the fresh paint smell has gone to your brain (like mine was) that is even misleading, power what? I have a copy of the order guide (I'm sober now) and it even uses different terminology to describe the black and chrome tow mirrors. No mention of manual-folding on the chrome one (part of tow package on the limited) ???

I ordered my mirrors thru Infotainment and will let you know how it goes. Sucks to have to pay the money (did get the 10% off). But can't keep the tow mirrors...period. When I talked to them, they order and ship the mirrors directly thru Mopar. The rest comes from Infotainment. Feel at least better that they are Ram mirrors vs a 3rd party manufacturer. They take the VIN to ensure it has the right mirrors for your truck.
