Remote tailgate release thud, 2023 Multi-function tailgate

Anyone got a 2023 with multi-function tailgate that has used the buttons on the remote to open it? I did it and it seems dampened to a certain extent, once it gets about 2/3rds of the way down it seems like it releases and drops with a big thud. Is this normal or is something not adjusted properly?

I was just about to make a topic about this. I just got my truck this weekend and even without using the remote, it just flops down 2/3rds the way down. But one side of the straps is loose compared to the other one which is tight when tailgate is fully down.
