Relocate rear view mirror camera to topper

Hi all. I have a 2022 2500 that I am adding a ARE topped to for work. I want to keep the rear view mirror clear view camera but move it to the topper. I have to remove the camera and the third light anyway to allow the topper to fit.

Does anyone know of a way or someone to talk to or help with adding the clear view camera to the ARE topper third brake light?

You might have better luck in the Homepage - HD Rams forum. This is the 5th Gen 1500 Rams site.

That being said, you can do it, you just need a longer Fakra cable.

I figured it was so general I went with the larger pool of people. lol. But I can try there also. Any ideas on if I need a new light 3D printer or just to modify?

I'm not sure on the opening on the cap. I've heard people have done this mod.

The window will pivot seperate of the 3rd light. So I’m hoping someone has done this before and had a guide. Or maybe a company can 3D print me a new light with the camera added. I don’t really want to try and do it myself. Far too busy for that. But would be willing to try it.

Any tips on the idea of unplugging the Fakra cane plug in at the bumper from the inside and routing up to the topper?
