Is there any correlation between the oil temp and the heat needed to REGEN? I don't have the tools to read if the truck is passively REGENING, but when I tow, the oil temp is around 225 to 232.

I haven't noticed more than a degree or two change in oil or coolant temp during regens (monitored using Torque app). The best way I have noticed regens, if not monitoring EGTs/DPF load is a drop in the MPGs as the engine dumps more diesel into the filter to light it up.
