I also used PlastiDip on the tow hooks. I have the MGP caliper covers on the brakes and some vinyl lettering in red on black emblems too. Just finished yesterday.

I did. It makes things a lot easier. It’s two bolts. The large one has a retaining clip so it needs to be tapped out.

you actually dont need to take the bolts out.... you can just loosen them, and then push the towhook inwards (towards the truck) and they slip out of that rubber thing. then when you put them back in, you pull the tow hooks towards you to seat them back in their place. then just tighten up the bolts.

I went a little different, 2019 Sport, Granite. Blacked everything out. Had the hooks powder coated, didnt want any chipping with the plastidip. MPG caliper covers with Ram logo in black. Just added the lettering this past weekend.

Where do you get the lettering?

Got mine done over the weekend. Probably the last time I plasti dip something, however, as I’m not so happy with the results. Some areas peeled a bit more than I wanted, and exposed the chrome under the badges. Don’t have a lot of confidence the dip will stay put for long.

Otherwise, love the look, so I’ll start seeking a longer-term solution.
