Rebel with Adaptive Cruise Control

Xan anyone tell me where the front sensor is for the ACC on a 5th gen Rebel? My wife's Grand Cherokee has a little radar bubble in the lower part of the front bumper and I got to thinking about it on the Rebel I have on order. I want to mount a light bar in the grill of the bumper but obviously if it has a similar sensor that's gonna be a problem. TIA

That’s a good question . I’ve seen a Limited with the ACC but didn’t see where the sensor was .

Interesting. I know the bubble you’re referring to, had the same on my Durango too.

Not a Rebel but I have ACC on my Longhorn with nothing resembling that on the bumper or behind the grille.

Possible that the front parking sensors also double as ACC sensors?

If I'm not mistaken its in the windshield? There is a thread on adding this and if you don't have that little triangle sensor in the windshield you need to add an entire new windshield.

WK2/WD also has the windshield camera.

I will say though, the Ram’s camera is significantly smaller than the one my 2016 Durango had

ACC is not only the windshield camera.

It occurs to me Durango had no front parking sensors. I bet the bubble is just radar and Ram’s front parking sensors double as radar sensors for ACC
