Hello everyone, I'm the owner of a Rebel X SO less than a month.
Today it has 2,600 km (1,600 miles) and the engine warning light has been switched on, whitout any feelings of malfunction.
The light switched on after more than 40 miles of quiet travel at 70-80 km/h in the trafic.

I read around that it has already happened to others people but somebody know the reason?

I noticed that the liquid temperature indicator (before dropping to 97C - 205F) was 105C - 221F .... it seems a bit high, so I tried to leave the truck off for an hour but the light is always on and if I remember correctly these temperatures are normal for Rams trucks.

Does anyone have a similar experience with the Hurricane unit ? Thank you.

Get a code scanner and see what codes your truck is throwing

Thank you Rammy, I'll be to the dealer on Thursday and we'll see.

I only was curious to know if this thing had happened to someone of this forum.

I refer to my post #1.
The engine light was fixed for two reasons: a short misfire and the AUX battery not working (it always was zero charge).

Now everything is ok and even the start-stop is working properly (if I don't turn it off.....)
