Reaching out to other 2020 Ram 1500 Bighorn owners who are having issues with a leaking Rear window. The other day I noticed dampness on my seats and realized that the window was leaking. Upon further inspection I noticed two cracks on the right plastic fram and one on the left.

I have talked to the dealership and they want to apply the silicone to the window. This isn't acceptable when the frame is cracked in three places. I have tried calling Ram Customer Care several times only to be hung up on, lied to, and told different things. I have asked for a supervisor to contact me and have not had a single call back. I have called them each day and left messages again to not have a single call back.

With all that being said I went to Safe lite auto glass to see about replacing it and it only cost $400. I am not sure why this is a difficult call for Ram to fix a problem that they created. The other thing that Safe lite told me was that the silicone applied to the paint will contaminte the paint and it woukd have to be repainted before sealing the glass if replaced. This has been ongoing since November 3rd and is exhausting! I have had to open 2 cases because one was closed not to my knowledge but I guess they didnt want to deal with the issue. @RamCustomerCares

Looks like my original back lite, had the same cracks.
It was replaced under warranty, the replacement failed couple years later with cracks in the corners.
Ended up sealing it with permatex flow-able silicone, same procedure that Stellantis calls for.

edit: You need to address that before the RF module gets wet and damaged.

welcome to the forum

Whatever you do, do not use Safelite. They are the worse. Horrible company with horrible techs. They had to replace my windshield twice because the first one had a defect in it. You know where the defect was, right in the driver's line of sight. The same line of sight the tech used while driving my truck. Yet, he just ignored it and said it's all good. I noticed it as soon as I sat in the seat. Then after the second windshield, the new tech couldn't figure out how to configure the DASM. Now, I just noticed yesterday after my passenger side wiper arm came loose, that they didn't install the cap that goes over the nut. I've never seen such awful service.
