Differences between a Top and a Bottom mounted rear spring spacer??.. +/- of each? Pros/Cons?..

I purchased 1" Motofab rear spacers to accommodate a Bilstein 5100 lift. I'm in process of installing the fronts but haven't got to the rears yet. Main reason for going with a bottom spacer was to leave room for manual airbags in the spring up top.
