I am having a tough time finding a definitive answer. Other than length differences; are there any differences between the 4th gen and 5th shocks? I am trying to find an upgraded rear shock and am not seeing any for 5th gens. I heard some are using QA1 TD903's but they say they are for GTO's?

Can someone clarify?

No one? I'm interested in this too. Just put the maxtrac 2/4 kit on and I feel like the rear shocks could be better

I am installing IHC 3/5 on my truck. Called QA1 and talk to them, they said measure eyelet to eyelet and send them the length (with the truck on the ground) and they will recommend a rear shock. Hope this helps.

Just ordered that IHC kit myself and was curious on the QA1 shocks, any luck?

4th gen rear shocks won’t work as the top mounts differently.
