I am looking at a really good deal on the 2017 RAM, but wonder if the backseat out of the 2019 RAM would bolt into the rear of the 2017.
I need a Full 3x rear seat, not the 2+1 of the older generation.
Any one have pictures and measurements of mounting points?

Notsure what you mean. But if you mean you want a seat that the whole thing goes up and not one seat or the passenger 2.

If you get one from a 2009 to 2018 tradesman or a low package bighorn you will get that.

If that isnt what you mean, I would guess the 2019 will not fit, but once again you would have to do tradesman as the other trims are 40/60 split also.

Interested in why you need one or the other.

looking at seat vs seat,
need to go to stealership and see about measuring the two trucks.
in pictures and videos the positions on the mounting brackets look close, but that can be an inch off or more.

So your problem is the cut in on the seat for the cup holders on the floor?

Got ya, that really is an annoying thing.

The back of the cab is different on the 2019 also, because of the eTorque battery, so the mounts may be off there.

Yeah wife wants to put a Baby seat in the middle. (got 3 kids, 9, 6 & newborn) I would feel safer with a full seat under the carseat base

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. We had our son in our 2013 2500 and although the car seat did fit and we never had no issue, I really wish they would have putthe cupholders to come out from under the front seat like my 99 Ram does.

Good luck with the swap, hope it works, keep us posted
