Can anyone help me out? I recently upgraded my factory Class III to the Curt 15005 specifically marketed for this truck (2020 1500 Bighorn), put the bumper back on and noticed the tailgate wasn't moving properly. Come to notice that the bottom of the gate was rubbing slightly the black plastic that runs across the top of the rear bumper and that the plastic part appeared somewhat "arched". The bumper had some cosmetic damage so I just replaced it. Come to see the new one is just as arched! What is this?? Both the old and new bumper mounted right up to the mount holes perfectly, nothing forced on etc. The rest of the bumper looks fine with the body lines, nothing creased etc but in the center of it when looking from the rear the new one is also indeed "arched". Did I do something wrong or is this just how they're built? I put a level on top of the old one and its definitely not flat and it appears the new one (pictured) is the same. Looking for suggestions and if anyone has encountered this. I followed the directions exactly for hitch installation and I cant imagine it would physically bend the bumper, especially since the factory bolts lined up with the new brackets perfectly. Any input would be greatly appreciated driving me nuts

Wow, there is definitely a bowing to the bumper. Not sure why. I just replaced the bumper on my 2019 Limited after my daughter backed into it in the driveway. Went on no problem. Actually bought it on Amazon for $300. Maybe try another one. Amazon had returns on it too if not. Good luck.

Yeah... Well the hell with it its off the truck packed and headed back to UPS this afternoon.
