Rear Bed Step Hitting Exhaust

My 22 backcountry bed step clears exhaust tip fine. But is stiff pulling it out and pushing it back, has anyone tried putting grease zeros on the pivot points

Same here. Mine has been getting real tight too. Might not be a bad idea to add grease fittings.
