Does any one ever run aftermarket rear air bags at 0 psi when no load in bed?

I've got Air Lift/Load Lifter 5000 with internal bump stops. 5 psi adds 3/4" to rear height and a little bit stiffer ride. The manual and the installer says not to go below 5 psi. These bags are very robust, they aren't installed inside the coil spring and have top and bottom plates bolted to the frame. What could happen?

Interested in hearing the replies to this as I have developed a leak somewhere in my Timber Grove system. I’ll look into finding where it is leaking soon but can’t do it immediately
