As the title suggests I have recently installed the 3.5 inch rough country lift/level kit with the completed struts from RC. After install I could feel it almost like a gust of wind at 45mph+ sending me left and right, also following the changes of grooves in the road but not to the extent I cannot control the truck. For all of that I figured at the time it was likely due to the alignment, and it is something that would get cleared up with all of that. Fast forward a few days and I get my Toyos (35x11.5R20) installed on the factory 20x9 night edition wheels, I get the alignment done and the problem is still there. I have had them add a bit of caster as I have seen suggested in other posts but it's not correcting the issue and have had 3 alignments as the suspension settled in with no change to the issue (lifetime alignments) , any advice on what I can look at would be greatly appreciated as this is driving me insane and I prefer not to throw part at something on a guess! Specs for everything below:
2022 Ram 1500 4wd Quad Cab 5.7
Mileage: 38,652
35x11.5R20 Toyo Open Country AT3
Only other modifications are a Borla Atak exhaust, side steps and a Soft topper

Rough Country really is junk my friend. If you want entry level, Bilstein really is the way to go and is far less expensive.

This is simply your opinion and is 100% incorrect.
While it is an opinion, it is a well educated opinion and 100% correct. RC has no racing heritege at all. Therefore they do not benefit from technology learned in the trenches. Bilstein is raced all over the world and has for decades. They are also much less expensive. All of that is 100% correct. Sorry if that upsets you.

This is such a polarizing subject!

I've tried and done damn near everything suspension wise over the last 40+ years.

Basic isn't always bad.

No one here should fear asking a question, and no one should try to run over another person's opinions..most posts here are to get opinions and other people's experiences and knowledge.

I'd love for this subject to go away, but it won't.

Having said all that, I know there's a LOT of hate on the RC 3.5"/2.0" Lift Kit..but unless you're willing to start cutting your front end apart, there isn't a great alternative to getvthis lift. All the coilovers are gonna max under this amount.

I'm not saying I'd do it, but if someone's thinking about it, I'm not necessarily against it..will all go about mods differently and sometimes it's a process.

(H2OMAN...you have the setup we all want👍)

My 2 pennies here💰

I know but, what are you going to do? You try to use your experience to help others and they don't want to be helped. There's just nothing that can be done. Oh well. What do I know?

like we always say at the shop. we can charge a customer every time he/ she brings us junk to install, but we don't want to do that. driver mod is the very basic thing that needs to be installed.
