Nice, how you liking the optic? Im old school iron sites but keep thinking about getting one
Optics on handguns are great, and here to stay. I switched to optics for my carry rig and could‘t be happier.

The biggest thing to know (for those unfamiliar) is that if you put them in a CCW or home defense weapon, you will need to train, and train often to master it (lots and lots of dry fire, draws from holster or from compressed ready, etc.) until it becomes automatic when you draw that weapon, that the dot will be there and you don’t have to hunt for it wasting precious seconds.

Cheers,

For some reason I don't have a picture of my wife's .22LR Mossberg Blaze in wildfire camo.

Preparing for my last day I went to the range, also was my son's first day at the range. BTW that Savior case is AMAZING!

My son's first time shooting. He was shooting my brother's .22LR bolt action rifle with iron sights. On the rifle range he was hitting the gong at 100yrds with the same rifle.

I live in Jersey and go out to PA to shoot. $35/yr can't be beat, and I'd much rather be outside shooting than inside with a bunch of idiots from NYC in Jersey.

I'm finishing up my staycation right now and I probably should have gone last week. But laziness, beer, and getting my spray in bed liner done pretty much took up my time. I go back to work Tuesday so I'll probably head out to the range in 10 days on Tuesday the 15th, weather permitting.

It was mostly the beer...

So,....... What does that have to do with the price of bacon in Chicago?

Price of a slice of bacon is probably cheaper than a round of 9mm at this point. I wanna shoot so bad but also gotta conserve the reserves...

I don’t understand some state laws. I can understand limited mag capacity, but don’t see how the type of grip makes a difference.
So do I. And not shooting at all. Can't find any plinking ammo. Don't want to use up my stash.

I don't got room for that sht at the moment, but when I do....
I don't either, at least not at my house. That's why it's in the basement of the business I own. I got it at a big discount by going in on it with four of the guys who work for me back during the last panic and ammo price spike in 2013. I think all told, we spent over $3k on equipment, including a wet tumbling setup. That sounds like a lot, but it ain't bad when it's split five ways.

I’ll post photos some time but my EDC varies between SIG P228 (the original model) and a S&W Shield MP. I built a Frankengun finally, but the upper/barrel is PSA, lower from Spike, with a Daniel Defense LPK. Old Marlin .44 lever action, Mossberg 500 pistol grip, and a beautiful Belgian Auto 12ga with the gold plated trigger

I’ll be picking this up next week. Did my NJ NICS check yesterday. Beretta 1951 Italian Police trade in surplus purchase. Single stack 8rd mag. Predecessor to the 92 series. InkedBeretta1_LI.jpg
