Rams are the best work trucks But I have questions

Upgraded from a 2018 Ram 4500 to a 2023 Ram 5500. They were both used for strictly repossession purposes I'm loving it but I have a few questions. How do I keep my backup camera on all the time without it shutting itself off and how do I access so you connect developer mode options or any other hidden features

Hdrams.com would be the better place. This forum is geared more toward the 1500 5th Gen crowd you can stick around but you’ll get way more help at the other site. Not sure if Zautomotive tazar works with the HD or AlfaOBD but thats what we the 1500 guys use.

OBDlink MX is that one we commonly use around here and the one I use but Ive seen this other one posted a time or two. No idea if it’ll work for you so use with caution.

some one said the elm 327 works just as good and is way cheaper... but cheap doesnt mean anything

Exactly I always just go with whats been tested and used by others as long as the price isn’t too outrageous.
