I keep thinking that a closed RamBox door looks like a good seat. I mean the side of the bed gets wide enough to look comfortable. I recall some old quail hunting trips where we'd ride on the sides of the bed while scouting and the RamBox lids look great for this. The issue is that the manual states the following:
"Loads applied to the top of the bin lid should be minimized to prevent damage to the lid and latching/ hinging mechanisms."
That's not very specific, especially since they state "Do not exceed cargo weight rating of 150 lb (68 kg) per bin." So for those of you with prior RamBox experience, how much weight can they take closed?
