Bought a 2019 Laramie 1500 crewcab, and wish that I had gotten the rambox. I am considering buying a used rambox and having it installed but not sure what issues I will encounter. Has anyone done this?

For sure you'll need to replace the entire bed. You'll also need the wiring for the power locks, lights, and power outlet if you want full functionality. You'll probably also need to have your dealership add the sales code to enable those as well. Definitely easier, and probably cheaper to trade your truck in for one with the rambox option.

Thanks. You are probably right. As I look into this more, it seems to be more and more complicated.
