Ram Ups the Ante with 10-Year, 100K-Mile Powertrain Warranty

Covers 2026 Ram Trucks and Vans, Including Power Wagon and RHO

Ram is raising the bar on what truck owners can expect when it comes to peace of mind. For the 2026 model year, the brand has introduced “America’s Best Full-Size Truck Limited Powertrain Warranty”—a 10-year, 100,000-mile promise that covers nearly every full-size Ram truck and van sold in the U.S.

They should grandfather in all the previous years DT series, that would send a positive message to their customers.
I’m about to take delivery of one of the last weeks of 2025 production, and it’s kind of annoying. I wish they’d extend it to at least future sales of 2025s

It looks like 2025 owners got a total screwing. The only year with no V8 engine, and now this big slap in the face. My last Ram. Period. I gave them another shot, but this is how they treat their customers. Obviously, they were not too confident in the ‘25 power train, or they would have offered it then. I am looking to trade it off. NOW, not later!

They need to also up the bumper to bumper as well. While I am glad the Hemi is coming back, I do have concerns about the "Atlantis High" electrical platform introduced in 2025. We can only hope fixes are afoot.

Yep great news now fix the service dept. warranties don’t me sh*t if you gotta go through hell and back to get something repaired.

I think this is phenomenal news.
They looked at all the doubt on the Hurricane being discussed on the interwebs and made a great move, even if it's just optics (basically they are eating the cost for an extended PT warranty that is already available today for a couple thousand $$ from many brands).

Yes, I'd love to see a B2B warranty as the Electrical architecture is probably more concerning than the powertrain (and eTorque is federally mandated for coverage thru 8yrs/100k miles anyway). But this is still better than anything a domestic maker has offered, ever.

But discussions on bringing the Hemi back and now this awesome warranty (both unprecedented cases of a domestic manufacture reacting to the market with agility) are proving to me that they can't win for nothing. People will always gripe.

Too bad the dealership network is garbage and filled with grifters looking for any excuse to deny coverage. How about make a better product and we won't need to worry about the warranty
What is the benefit to the dealership to deny coverage? Are they not reimbursed at the same rate as what a customer would pay for the repair? I can understand Stellantis trying to deny warranty work but never understood why a dealership would care one way or the other.

I suspect they are lazy/understaffed/overworked, they don't receive support from corporate, or it's just easier to fleece the money from the consumer. Path of least resistance. Also, nobody seems to give a bleep about their job

I had Stealership try and deny axle seals on my lifted JKU w/ 37's claiming lift and wheels, so I pointed over to my exes STOCK JK and leaking seals. They said ok we'll replace.

Had I knew the hemi was coming back with the extended warranty for 2026 I would not have bought the 2025. I guess I bought my last Ram. Not to mention all the Ram dealers I talked to were looking to screw me over.
