Drove the Rebel first.
Dealership let me drive it home to ensure it fits in my garage. :D
It was close, but fits. (y)

Definite road noise from the tires but a sweet ride.
Next was the Laramie. Very quiet ride. Rough ride at first, probably flat spot on tires from sitting around on the lot.
Ride smoothed out after a while.

Thought the Rebel seats felt slightly nicer than the Laramie.

Both were the I6, no Hemi on the lot to test drive.
Drove both highway and around time.
Did seem to notice a slight delay with accelerating when driving around town.
Would have been great to drive the Hemi right then to compare.

With the tires they put on the Rebel you definitely get some tire noise. It seems more noticeable to me around town than on the highway. Rebel drives more like truck than my 14 Tundra which drives very much like a car.

It's hard to describe the differences between the Hurricane and a V8 driving around town. There have been some instances where I would describe the Hurricane as flat. In general I haven't noticed any real delays. I have also noticed some instances at lower speeds like navigating a parking lot where a few of the gear shifts seemed rough.

I test drove a Rebel G/T and the Ram RHO today and both engines were incredibly smooth. Both had a smooth easy drive, it’s funny I notice tire noice more on the Rebel than the RHO.

I'm proud of you!

After over 7 years, perhaps you'll be a Ram1500OwnerFinally.

In all seriousness, good call on taking it home.

Nothing worse than spending that kind of cash and it not fitting in the garage!
