So I figured I would give my opinion on the ride quality on my new to me 2019 Ram 1500 Longhorn Crew with approx. 6,000 miles on the clock. It is my opinion that the Ram 1500 pickup has the absolute best ride quality of almost any truck / suv on the market. I have driven alot of vehicles and owned alot of different vehicles. This truck by far has the smoothest ride especially over rough roads. I traded in my 2019 Escalade for this truck and honestly my ram even drives better than that. I owned a 2018 GMC Sierra Denali, Ford F150's, Suburban's, even a Lexus LS460. This truck actually rides better than all of them. So if you are in the market for a truck and ride quality is an important aspect of what you are looking for, nothing can compare. Also has the largest back seat crew cab of all of the trucks I test drove.

Regarding air suspension vs non-air suspension I test drove back to back my longhorn vs a limited with air suspension over rough crappy roads and I found no discernable difference. Air ride was cool to show off with when parking and lowering truck etc but on the hot day I test drove the truck after going through two cycles I got an message on the dash stating air ride issue (I think it needed to cool down) therefore that made my decision easy.

Gotta love coil spring suspension. Sucks if you tow heavy but man the ride is amazing. I don’t regret having to get in one of our 3500 Silverado work trucks I forget how rough they ride when unloaded. Ram spoiled me.
