Ram Cares Goodwill Payment

After speaking with Ram cares at length they agreed to cover my heat core even though warranty has expired due to a previous conversation where they stated it was covered upon speaking with Ram today. They informed me that none of the dealerships will accept their Goodwill payment. Has anyone had experience with this? They informed me that I should pay the bill and that they will reimburse me at a later date once the work is complete. Is it customary for a dealership to refuse payment from Ram cares

You may be better off paying for the repair and getting reimbursed(if they actually pay you). Do you usually have a dealer you deal with?
