What exactly are you wanting to know? I'm not sure I understand what you mean when you ask what is in the ramboxes structurally. Are you asking how much weight the lids would hold?
Keep in mind, you are asking about your 3500 in a 1500 forum. The ramboxes in the 5th gen 1500's are not the same as those in HD trucks. Hd's are still using 4th gen sheet metal and rambox design. 5th gen 1500 ramboxes were redesigned for the 2019 1500 (DT). You might want to ask this in a 4th gen or HD forum.
