Quick question. Saw in a review that the Ram Boxes have a drain plug….true?

would be great for tailgating and holding….”waters”.

The RAM boxes are not insulated. The "water" will get warm quick.

There's the thread around here about how to remove them. Looking at the pics, I bet it wouldn't be too hard to insulate them, at least a little to help keep "water" colder, longer. Some low expanding foam wouldn't add much weight.

I would imagine that they are good for 3 or 4 hours max. They're definitely fun, but not ideal for any real cooling. I opted for them to help keep the cab cleaned up.

They make a great short term cooler. My only issue is other people opening and closing the lids on them, especially after a few "waters" LOL.

Too many “waters” makes people open Ram Boxes…it’s in the manual.

I’m waiting for someone to design a beer bong that attaches to the drain plug openings. Empty a keg into the Ram Box, get ready, and POP open the lid
