Hi All,
Perspective buyer of a '19-'20 Ram 1500 Laramie or Limited. Apologize for the elementary question but I am new to FCA products. I am trying to understand the Ram (or Uconnect?) app for the RAM's for remote start, lock/unlock, vehicle status, etc. I have F150s and a Lincoln Navigator with the FordPass and Lincoln Way for several years which allows you to start your vehicle remotely via the app, as I am sure you are all already aware of.
It appears that Ram has a similar option but I am trying to ascertain whether this is free like Ford's offering (now) or is a subscription service. Also whether this functionality is only available on select trims or all RAM 1500's. The information seems more difficult to come by then I would expect. I have been reading conflicting information as well as the difference between the uconnect app and the new Ram app.
I am sure this has been asked before. I did a search but came up empty, so I apologize if its obvious and I simply overlooked it based on search terms.
Thanks all.
