RAM app no remote start

Buy aftermarket fobs. I have a key fob I got off eBay for $40 so I could have remote tailgate release. Paid $120 for local locksmith to program.

I have successfully bypassed the dealerships and locksmiths in this very endeavor. Purchase a bypass cable from Infotainment.com, an OBDLinkMX+ scanner, and Jscan app for your Android or PC(I think they support IOS too).

The dealer told me my truck didn’t come with remote start, and when I told them about turning it on in the computer, they repeated to me it didn’t have the option. Some dealers just don’t know or don’t want to know. Maybe they’re afraid it will cost them money to get it in the shop and turn it on and then provide new remotes. This method is super easy and I can provide instructions for anyone looking to do this. Oh, and BTW, get Jscan instead of AlfaOBD. Trust me!
