HI all,
I’m new here and I have recently purchased a 2021 RAM 1500 Longhorn 4x4. I bought it so that I could pull my travel trailer. I was told that the integrated trailer brake could be put in, so I bought the truck knowing that it could be put in later. I was then told a week later that my model of truck didn’t have the “right pins” or “Didn’t have the pins” to have the trailer brake installed and they would have to have an after market trailer brake installed. I thought that was wrong, and I watched a number of videos that stated that all RAMS are equipped with the wiring and it should be a plug and play. What I would like to know is if this is the case, or are they making 2021 RAM 1500 without the necessary wiring harness for the OEM parts.
Thanks for all your help!
